"I had my driveway totally redone by J. Hunziker Paving. The way our driveway slopes it presented many challenges. When they finished our driveway it looked great. However, when it rained an area retained water in the middle.

J came back with his entire crew yesterday and they worked for several hours to fix the issue. Today the rains came again. Problem has been solved and driveway looks great.

I am a guy who likes to watch how things are done and how people work together. Each time that the Hunziker crew was here they were respectful and courteous. They each new their assignment and worked extremely well together.

"Every person or business has some area in which they could improve — or so I thought. We had J. Hunziker pave our 4,000-plus square foot driveway last week and I cannot think of one area in which they could improve. Some highlights: 1. I researched the heck out of local and national (AKA ones with local franchises) paving companies. We called four for estimates. One never showed. One showed and never sent an estimate. Another took more than a week to produce an estimate. J. Hunziker, on the other hand, had their estimate to us within a day. 2. We decided to go with them, not just due to price and the excellent reviews (ex: they have an A+ rating with the BBB), but because their “first impression” suggested they were reliable and dependable. That was true. We scheduled our driveway for two weeks out. They showed up on the scheduled date, right on time. 3. The whole crew was here at 7:30 a.m.. They were working by 7:35 a.m. — unloading equipment, marking out the driveway for sizing, etc. 4. Throughout the day, they didn’t stop once — not for lunch, not to chitchat or play on their phones, not even to use the bathroom. They were truly here to work, and that’s what they did (till after 4:30 p.m.). 5. Their work was meticulous. The driveway is smooth, the edges sharp and straight and they cleaned every last bit of yard waste and “garbage” up and hauled it away. 6. The whole team was polite, focused and was sure to check with us regarding a couple things along the way (re: a pipe that was running under the driveway, connecting our driveway to our side walkway). Overall, I would recommend them to friends, social media and professional connections, family, strangers, etc. The price was fair, the work top notch and the crew hardworking."
